GK Bistronomie opens next week in Wynwood. Yesterday I wrote about it a bit; today we've got photos to help clarify.

What do Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud and Mario Batali all have in common? None ever worked as chef at a museum restaurant. But museum restaurants aren’t what they used to be (as staid as stale art); most now boast very good eateries helmed by talented chef such as Kaytlin Brakefield of Verde at Perez Art Museum Miami.

I recently received a package from Navitas Naturals, “The Superfood Company,” aka “Food For The Modern Life.” Inside were four snack packages, which is about as good as one can hope for when a package arrives at the door.

Today marks the start of Negroni Week -- and no, I didn’t know such a thing existed either. The Drawing Room Bar & Lounge (at the Shelborne Wyndham Grand) is honoring the occasion with an Albert Trummer concoction called “Miller’s Genuine Negroni.”

Last week, posted photos of amazing ice cubes created by the TBWA\Hakuhodo agency for Japan’s Suntory Whisky. We've got 'em for you, plus a video showing how they are made.

Andrew Kutz, Assistant General Manager of db Bistro, showcased a quartet of drinks from the restaurants’ new Spring cocktail menu (that will fittingly debut on Friday, March 20 – the first day of Spring). We take a look at four of them.

Reyka Vodka Brand Ambassador Trevor Schneider was recently in town to promote the small-batch premium spirit from Iceland. I tasted the Reyka, chatted with Mr. Schneider, and also came away with a Valentine’s Day cocktail recipe.

I only recently tuned into Radio Bar, a neat neighborhood spot in SoFi that apparently everyone else has been crowding into for the past two years. Well, at least I did so in time to catch brand new additions to the cocktail menu.

Small Tea recently opened on Aragon Avenue in Coral Gables. These are 10 things I like about it.
